The tension between worlds

Observations of nature — exploring the quiet tension between the natural world and the environments we build around it.

A detailed monochrome painting of a heron with shades of teal and black ink splashes in the background.
A pencil drawing of a bird with sharp features, intense eyes, and textured feathers

A new body of work is taking shape—Gaze of the Unyielding. Artwork built around strength, anger, and reclamation, exploring how tension shapes both nature and human experience.

Rooted in Realism. Driven by Tension.

As a self-taught artist, my work sits somewhere between nature and the world we’ve built around it.

I’m drawn to the way nature feels — the stillness, the tension, the moments that stay with you without needing to be explained.

My aim is to carry that feeling into the work, so it can exist beyond the page and into the space it’s placed in.Mainly working with graphite and ink
